(Open) The best way to catch a snake.

1 - Typically the safest option is always to set a snake trap.
When you can't catch it yourself, you'll need to hire a professional snake expert.
3 - If you know for sure the snake is non-venomous, you can actually catch the snake by grabbing into it with thick gloves. Place it in a pillow case and relocate it.
A snake hook or snake tongs, such as seen below, is the best way to catch a snake if you don't want to touch it or can't identify it.

REMEMBER, however, that snake bites are usually caused by people trying to catch or kill them. Maybe your best bet is just to leave them alone. In most cases, a trap or experienced professional is the best option. For either, go to the bottom of this page.

When you admire your garden in the heat of the day and enjoy spending hours bent over, there is nothing more unnerving than seeing a slimy, long body suddenly slither under your feet. It also likes your garden, as he watches you pull rocks and weeds out of the ground. After you experience this a few times in a row, you are bound to feel anxious when trying to reach into a thick clump of vegetables, and finally you may refuse to go into the garden at all. This is terrible news for someone whose labor has produced good results. There's a chance that you could catch that snake.

If you want to catch the snake, first determine what kind of serpent it is. A poisonous snake will need special care, if not a professional touch. The snake must not be poisonous before you can begin.

The first thing you need to do is re-enter your garden. There are snakes there, so you will need to go into this area to catch it. Your goal is to distract the snake using a branch, yard stick, or fire poker. Keeping your tool near the snake's head will keep it focused on you. With your opposite hand, you will pick up the snake's tail. Snakes should be kept mostly on the ground. A snake you pick up by its tail should never be handled! To raise the snake's front end, use your stick as quickly as you can. You should now hold the serpent's tail in one hand while holding the stick that holds up the snake's front end in the other hand. With this position, you can control the reptile's body and prevent yourself from being injured. Make sure that the snake is moved to a safe location. When you do not have nearby shelter for the animal, you can place it in a pillowcase and transport it by car. The head of the snake should be gently pointed in the direction you want the snake to travel. To gently release a snake in a pillowcase, spread out the snake partially so that it remains covered. Back away from the pillowcase and leave it on the ground. Afterwards, you can retrieve your linen.

As an alternative, you could try to shoo the snake into a large garbage bag if the above method is too direct. With a broom, guide the snake into the bin. If you run into the snake, do not hit or push it; you do not want to injure it. Snakes cannot climb out of these smooth bins, which makes the relocation process safer.

If your snake is indoors, you can remove it using a shirt and a pillowcase. You should place the snake in the pillowcase and your shirt/light blanket over it. You can place the pillowcase in a garbage bin or large box so the snake may come out if desired. Add an airtight lid to the container. Now you can safely transport the snake. You can easily find out if it's safe to handle a snake with bare hands by reading the following article.

When it comes to snake removal, professional snake traps are the best. A few traps are endorsed by wildlife professionals, whereas others are worthless. Using these traps will allow you to remove the snake from your property without having to handle it directly. If you are unsure of the type of snake you are confronting, use a hands-free method.      The snake(s) you catch have basically three options. Please refer to my directory below for contact details of wildlife experts. They can catch and remove snakes and take other steps to resolve the snake problem. You may also purchase a snake trap to catch the snake yourself. The third option is to modify your property and seal up your house to help keep snakes away.  Get rid of the need to catch snakes altogether by not having to worry about it at all.
